The State of Kansas is seeking competitive bids from qualified vendors to create a Qualified Vendor List (QVL) reflecting vendors from whom agencies will solicit current-price bids when locksets and miscellaneous hardware items associated with this contract are required. 4.1. Process: At the time an agency needs to make an actual purchase of an item on this contract, the following procedures will be followed: 1. The “then-current pricing” will be solicited of a minimum of three (3) QVL vendors, utilizing a form developed for this contract, or something similar, as may be developed by the agency. 2. The solicited vendors shall complete the Request for Quote form and return to the agency requestor, within the timeframe indicated in the request. 3. Agency will evaluate and award to the lowest cost at the time, keeping in mind specifications must be met. 4. A purchase order will be issued to the awarded vendor and delivery will be expected within the timeframe quoted. 5. Invoice will be sent to the ordering agency. At the time of price quote, in the event delivery minimums apply, bidders shall submit that information with their quote response to the agency.
