Basic machine: - Cabin must have air ride seats for both the driver and passenger. - All controls and joystick must be in the armrest for ergonomic use. - Combine must have Hydraulic steering. - Must have a minimum of 4 Cameras (Rear, Weighing System, Shaker, Cyclone). - Must have emergency Shutoff. - Combine cabin must have Air conditioning and heating. - Grain tank must have a minimum capacity of 1000 L. - Grain Tank must have an unloading mechanism resulting in minimal residual rice when transferring rice using the unload auger to prevent premature corrosion and extend the life of the grain tank. - Grain tank must be easily cleaned and with the ability to tilt for easy and safe cleanout for seed purity. - Unloading height must be a minimum of 11 feet. - Grain fill level must be displayed in the cabin. - Must have a platform around the grain tank for safe access and operation. - Must have a ladder to access the top of the platform safely. - Must have a spiked-tooth cylinder and concave for grain separation from the stalk. - Must include an electrically adjustable step-less threshing drum variator. - Must include a mechanical reverse for the threshing drum including the necessary key/wrench. - Threshing concave angle of contact – must be at least 117 degrees. - Must include de-awning/concave bars. - Must have a 4-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine with a minimum of 70hp - Must have a minimum of 240 Nm torque on the threshing drum. - Must have a rotating dust separator at the radiator. - Must have a platform for working on the engine, and the platform needs to be reachable safely by ladder. - Must have easy access (<1 minute) to all moving parts, belts, and bearings for maintenance and repairs. Major components should not need to be removed to access parts. - Must have 4-wheel drive. - Must have hydrostatic drive with two-speed options. - Must have a track system with an outside width approx. 5.75ft to minimize the damage of rice in the plots for ratoon crops. - Must have an adequate cleaning system (including shaker and sieve) with large surface area to handle larger volume rice samples and provide milling grade samples. - Must have a minimum of a two to three step surface shaker - Must have a double sieve system and an adjustable middle sieve - Cleaning fan (with quick adjustment) for discarding vegetative waste material - The header and threshing case must be cleaned out by pushing a button after each plot. - The front drive system must be a Rubber Track System instead of front tires. - Must have Stainless Steel Piping throughout the whole machine for grain transfer. - Must have a straw chopper to reduce excess straw material from sitting on top of the previously cut yield plots. - Must be able to operate in the mud and efficiently turn around. - Minimum ground clearance of 16 inches to minimize bottoming out in muddy conditions. - Must have suitable tires for operating and turning in muddy conditions - Length of machine (including header) must be no longer than 24.5 feet to fit safely onto the trailer. - Width: must be approximately 5.5-5.8 feet. - Height: must be 10.5 feet or less for safe and legal transport with existing trailers - Must have tie down rings on front wheels for easy transport. - Must have a minimum of 4 Cameras including screen, Camera positions: - Rear, Separation Area, Grain Gage, Cyclone
