Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Utah Public Health Lab (UPHL) (Department) within the Department of Health (DOH) performs serologic testing for HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C on a fee-for-service basis for customers including, but not limited to, DOH, local health departments, and other health clinics and organizations. The testing is carried out using the Alinity I Analyzer which is rented from Abbott Laboratories, Inc.(Contractor). Testing requires the purchase of reagents and supplies that are compatible and FDA-approved for use on the Alinity I system. The Department desires to enter into a five (5) year agreement with the Contractor, in accordance with state procurement policy, for the rental and service and maintenance of the instrument and purchase of reagents and supplies.
