In general, the remediation contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, services, permits, insurance, and equipment, which is specified, shown, or reasonably implied for remediation activities specified in the Protocol. This Protocol includes, but is not limited to, the following major components: • Establishment of engineering controls and critical barriers in preparation of the work areas for remediation. Containments shall be prepared by moving any and all contents (including desk assemblies) and personal effects away from the immediate work area, and establishing critical barriers and air-lock entrance to the work areas. • Dehumidifiers and HEPA air scrubbers shall operate at all times within the containment area until the work area meets the post-remediation efficacy criteria as specified herein. • Removal of damaged building materials in designated areas. • Upon completion of removal, all remaining surfaces, containment barriers, and remediation contractor equipment in the work area shall be thoroughly fine cleaned. • Criteria for post-remediation efficacy assessment.
