Provide forces capable of independently performing earthwork, grading, rip rap placement, and line ditch slope with rock of the facility belonging to the CITY. The Contractor must understand the work is around live energized power facilities, and all personnel of the Contractor must attend training awareness of the hazards associated with working in energized power facilities and wear proper PPE. Bidders can submit alternative materials for the exterior portion of the JEC facility. Please mark on page 10 next to ( Rock ID: ) what material you plan to use, i.e., limestone, quartz, crushed concrete, etc. There will be no exceptions or alternative to the sizes of the rock / rip rap. The inside portion of the JEC will remain the same, recycled crushed concrete for the perimeter of the facility and a white 3”-5” stone to be placed at the south portion of the facility. All drainage improvement work is to be accomplished in accordance with the directions of the designated representative of the CITY.
