1. Plan to develop a foundational framework for interactive, realistically depicted patient characters that TFCBTWeb2.0 learners can engage with to practice the skills taught in the course. Learners would also receive feedback on their implementation of the skills. We are seeking a proof of concept to test the AI, networking, and 3D performance/integration to further inform the development paths of using AI and how that could be incorporated with the 3D character/development. 2. The framework for scenarios must be compatible with the Ruby on Rails web-app framework to allow it to function within the existing TFCBTWeb2.0 course. 3. The framework must support patient characters that portray realistic TF-CBT patients (children and caregivers). This must include realistically depicted representations of human characters. 4. The learning scenarios will be housed on a specific tab within the TFCBTWeb2.0 course structure. 5. The framework should allow for decision tree-based progression through clinical conversations developed in conjunction with MUSC, provision of feedback to learners based on their choices, and visual scenarios that utilize scripted audio. 6. The framework should be created to test the potential use of AI-chat structures to guide learner experiences. 7. The provision of sample video and audio components to test the function of the foundation framework and its ability to be integrated within the TFCBTWeb2.0 platform.
