1. Air Handler a. Install equipment per the manufacturer's recommendations allowing for proper condensate drainage and accessibility. b. All electrical, condensation lines, and refrigeration lines will be adequately supported. c. The condensate line will be PVC and will drain onto the outside of the room. d. Wired thermostats will be installed. Location to be determined. e. All trash and debris will be removed from the work area by the contractor at the end of each work day. 2. Heat Pump a. The condensing units will be mounted to the outside wall. b. Install the new equipment. 3. Refrigeration lines a. The lines will be fitted to the equipment using a flaring method. b. A pressure test will be done to ensure there are no leaks. c. A vacuum procedure will be done to ensure there are no leaks and the lines are free of all non-condensable. d. The lines will be supported to ensure they do not interfere with the accessibility of the equipment or workspace. e. Lines running through walls will be sealed using the proper fire caulk. 4. Electrical a. Contractor to run electrical from existing power source. b. All electrical connections will follow all state/local codes. 5. Start-Up a. Factory startup procedure
