Specifications include, but are not limited to: an annual contract to provide annual grass cutting for the City of Kenner, Department of Public Works located at 1803 23rd Street, Ste B, Kenner, LA 70062. Grass cutting must begin within five (5) days of Notice to Proceed (weather permitting). 32,197,997 SQ YD GRASS CUTTING SMOOTH CUT (*); 3000 SQ FT WEED REMOVAL & CONTROL ; 500 HOUR MULCHING; 300 HOUR FLOWER BED PLANTING; The grass shall be cut to a height of between a minimum 1” (one inch) and a maximum of 1 ½ “ (one and one-half inches) exposure. Cutting shall be performed in such a manner as to leave the areas with a smooth level cut in the grass conforming to the existing grade. No gouging, scalping or similar actions shall be permitted. The contractor will be responsible for scheduling the grass cutting in such a manner that all individual designated cut areas are evenly cut on the same day. For example, designated areas that have medians, roadside and canal bank areas should be cut on the same day.
