An abbreviated scope of services is listed below: Project Initiation: Conduct a kick-off meeting with the City to determine goals of the project, confirm timeline, and establish lines of communication. Also at this time it will be important for the consulting team to understand the City perspective on how the facility will operate. Facility Program Recommendations: Based on information gathered, the consulting team will need to provide recommendations to the City on what should be included in the facility. Those facility components should support evening and weekend rental opportunities and the ability for the City to host a variety of programs at the location. Design: Based on the program recommendations the structure is to be approximately 5000 square feet, post and beam, 1.5 story horse barn looking structure. Minimum seating capacity of 200 persons, remaining space to be used for mechanical equipment, storage, restroom, office space and a caterer’s kitchen. No mezzanines. Exterior of structure to be board and batten siding. Exterior to have a covered canopy along two sides to accommodate outdoor seating.
