Work of this Contract comprises installation of a new fully adhered Carlisle gray EPDM roof membrane assembly (~ 41,000 sq ft) atop all areas of the Carroll County Dept. of Corrections jail building in Ossipee, NJ as shown on the Key Plan and scale Roof Plan on Drawing A – 1. Work includes installation of ~ 40 screw fasteners to augment securement and replace compromised fasteners and secure metal panel plates, ~ 50 sq ft DTM prime rusted surfaces, installation of ~ 20 sq ft of metal panel patching over any compromised metal panel areas. Work also includes new filler strips of ~ 1.5” EPS insulation between the metal roof panel standing seams followed by a secured layer of new ~ ½" high density polyisocyanurate cover board and a new fully adhered Carlisle gray EPDM unreinforced 60 mil roof membrane, new Kynar coated raised edge metal on the sloping rake edges, Kynar coated drip edge metal assemblies along the lower roof edges, new EPDM walkway pads, new wood blocking, new 120 lin ft of snow guard fencing in select areas as shown on the Roof Plan and all perimeter and penetration flashings to obtain a twenty (20) year system Warranty with 72 mph wind speed coverage issued by the EPDM roof system manufacturer.
