Vendor proposals must address City Schools need for an Implementation, Training, and Support software system for Point of Sale and Back of House operations that meets or exceeds the requirements listed below. • Requirements: o School Meals Software program must be: ▪ approved by USDA for use in certification of compliance with the National School Lunch Program meal pattern requirements (listed on https://www.fns.usda.gov/tn/usda-approved-certificationcompliance-tools-and-software) and detailed below (1). ▪ approved by USDA for nutrient analyses required in the school meal programs (listed on https://www.fns.usda.gov/tn/usda-approvednutrient-analysis-software) and detailed below (2) ▪ Cloud-based software, City schools should have access to the database to make updates ▪ Ability to download the database backups for reporting purpose o Software must have a robust reporting capability for State and USDA requirements (as related to all the functions below) o Web-based: system must operate on a centralized system (single database) and does not require replication o Demonstrated use of multiple modules at school districts required/references o Software must automatically run updates for the latest version of software o Software Modules: ▪ Point of Sale/Front of House: • Easy cashier management for CEP districts • Ability to accept electronic payments (i.e. credit card) at point of sale • Multiple meal type keyboards (functionality for and differentiation between NSLP, SBP, CACFP, SFSP) • C/O User customizable keyboards for all above mentioned programs. ▪ Customer information ▪ Student Management
