he contractor shall agree to furnish all labor, material, equipment and services necessary to perform the scope of work set forth in these specifications. 2.1.1 Ice melt will be product, Morgro Sno-Plow only on sidewalks, and any other product will need to be approved before submitting bid. Product should be applied at manufacturer specified rates to minimize damage to vegetation, structures, and concrete. 2.1.2 Snow removal will take place on weekends and Holidays, if necessary, with regular pay. 2.2 See attached snow removal plan drawings. (014836-WACSC, 014832-KWOC) 2.3 All sidewalks and steps shall be cleared side to side. 2.4 Immediately after snow removal operations, the contractor shall apply a de-icing material on all walkways. (Except for 9445 Rokeby Rd. Sand/Gravel Only) 2.5 Snow shall be removed from all entrance doors. 2.6 The contractor is not required to haul snow off the site. 2.7 Snow shall be piled up where designated by LES Department Representative. 2.7.1 If snow is to be hauled off site this will come with prior approval from Department Representative and be paid according to contract pricing. 2.8 All efforts will be made to avoid plowing into or piling snow on top fixed shrubs and trees in order to avoid unnecessary landscape damage. 2.9 Any damage to the grounds or structures due to snow removal operations will be required to be reported to the Department Representative, within 24 hours of snow/ice removal operations...
