This bid is for repairing and upgrading the greenhouse at Sundquist. The roof and vertical glass will be replaced with polycarbonate panels. Panel must be rated for greenhouse use, 6mmsolid clear glazing sheets. The existing structure is setup to accommodate 1/8" glass, contractor will be responsible to identify changes to the structure including brackets, seals, supports and any additional hardware or brackets to properly attach the new polycarbonate panels and strengthen structure. Vertical glass is stacked glass, brackets and supports will be needed to attach panels individually. Roof vents and sidewall louvers were damaged or lost. Contractor will repair or replace vents and louvers as needed. The existing vents and dampers are motorized. Contractor will upgrade the motorized system to include controls to close dampers due to high winds or freezing temperatures.
