1. The Contractor shall cut all standing dead trees (no DBH limit) unless tree has a nesting cavity. 2. The Contractor shall cut live trees with any significant deformities, damage, or disease. 3. The Contractor shall cut all live conifer trees 12-inch DBH and under. 4. The Contractor will remove all Conifer up to 12-inch DBH within 66 feet of established aspen stand as determined by the Project Manager/Inspector. 5. The Contractor shall also cut any brush and shrubs within the dripline of leave tree conifers. 6. The Contractor will leave all green aspen intact if possible. 7. Slash materials shall be no higher than 2 feet off the ground. 8. All remaining conifer trees over 12-inch DBH shall be limbed and overhanging bows no less than 6-feet above ground. 9. Maximum stump and cut brush height shall be no more than 6-inches high from the ground on the uphill side. 10. All material with a diameter of less than 10 inches will be lopped and scattered in established aspen stands using the specifications below. Material on the ground shall be limbed and bucked into 6-foot lengths and scattered along the ground. 11. In areas where cut banks are present, all material shall be removed unless otherwise determined by Project Manager/Inspector. 12.
