1. The work covered by this specification consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and fuel haul and dispose of MSW from the Hanover Transfer Station using 85 yard closed-top trailers provided by the Contractor. 2. When directed by the Town of Hanover to empty the MSW trailers, the contractor shall be responsible for removing & hauling the full trailer to an appropriate facility within 24-hours, discharging the load from the containers in accordance with the procedures of the receiving facility, and returning the trailer on the same day unless otherwise approved by the Town of Hanover. 3. The contractor’s equipment shall bear all necessary and valid registration and inspection stickers. The operator of the equipment shall have in his or her possession all licenses and endorsements for the type of equipment being operated. All equipment shall be operated in accordance with all motor vehicle rules and regulations. The contractor shall be responsible to ensure that their trucking equipment is adequate to haul and operate the trailers over-the-road as well as at the tipping floor of the disposal site.
