Contractor to Provide: 1. Prospective contractor shall note that this is an historic structure and that any changes to original will have to be pre-approved. 2. Prospective contractor shall be responsible for all safety barriers like orange construction fence to keep bystanders out of work areas and at a safe distance or equivalent. 3. Prospective contractor shall be responsible for any permits that maybe required. 4. Prospective contractor shall install Buck Stove Model 74 or equivalent. 5. Prospective contractor shall install a 6" round UL 1777 listed stainless steel liner system per manufacture instructions and UL 1777 guidelines appropriate for solid fuel burning class of service. 6. Prospective contractor shall insulate 6" stainless steel liner with foil faced ceramic wool blanket per UL 1777 guidelines and manufacture instructions. 7. Prospective contractor shall install a new full cover chimney cap with spark screen to cover the entire masonry crown/wash/splay. Chimney cap shall have a protective skirt and be designed to provide adequate draft for proper venting of the installed appliance. 8. Prospective contractor shall on installed appliance, upgrades to meet manufacturer’s installation specifications and any state, county, and city building codes.
