2.1 Embroidery Specifications • All golf-style shirts, pull-overs, jackets, sweatshirts, etc., will have the Fire Department’s logo embroidered on the left chest area and the employee’s first initial, last name, and rank embroidered on the right chest area of the garment. 2.1.1 Non-Embroidery Items • Certain items identified within the specifications will not require embroidery services. 2.1.2 Headgear Embroidery • Specific items such as headgear, as identified within the specifications, will require embroidery services. 2.2 Artwork Provision • The Fire Department will provide the necessary artwork to produce the required image for embroidery and/or other logos. 2.3 Proof Samples • The successful vendor must provide proof samples, approved by the Fire Department, of any embroidery, emblems, or logos (employee name, rank, etc.) before application on garments. 2.3.1 Embroidery Standards • Embroidery and emblem lettering must be in block style. Colors are to be approved by the Fire Department.
