At a minimum, the 12 Passenger plus 2 Wheelchair Bus must include all of the components in this IFB or component equivalents approved by the Department. A. Passenger Bus must conform to all specifications included in this IFB. B. Design Requirements: 1. The 12 Passenger plus 2 Wheelchair Bus must include, at a minimum, the following design features: a. New, model year 2024 or newer. b. Cutaway design. c. Entry door, side entry or rear entry wheelchair door, and rear door(s). C. Standard Passenger Bus Requirements: 1. The 12 Passenger plus 2 Wheelchair Bus must include, at a minimum, the following standard features: a. Air conditioning in front and rear of bus. b. Air bags. c. Floor mats, front and rear. d. License plate brackets, front and rear. e. White exterior paint. f. AM/FM radio. g. LED destination sign, front and side. h. Mounted full size spare tire. i. Power steering. j. Stability control system. k. Automatic transmission. l. Vinyl or plush fabric upholstery with antimicrobial treatment.
