Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) currently has 150 water wells that are equipped with Satlink dataloggers, which enable them to monitor and preserve the state’s water resources. The agency is seeking to purchase and install additional Ecolog 1000 series dataloggers and pressure sensors on bridges throughout Missouri to monitor water levels during flood and drought events. This data will be used in conjunction with the existing groundwater monitoring network to develop a flood and drought monitoring network that will assist and/or alert Missouri citizens of flood and drought conditions. The devices must produce data in a consistent manner as the devices that are currently in place. The Ecolog 1000 series dataloggers and pressure sensors are proprietary to and only available from OTT Hydromat Corporation. As a result, this represents a proprietary requirement that meets the criteria of a single feasible source under RSMo 34.044 and the state will be pursuing acquisition of the Ecolog1000 series dataloggers and pressure sensors as a Single Feasible Source.
