The scope of improvements includes the installation of about 2,500 feet of new 8-inch and 12-inch sanitary sewer mains via open cut trenching along 248th Avenue SE, SE 433rd Street, and McHugh Avenue. These mains will connect to a future lift station to be constructed at the intersection of 248th Avenue SE and SE 433rd Street. In addition, approximately 3,700 feet of new sanitary sewer force main will be installed along SE 433rd Avenue, McHugh Avenue, and Loraine Street. The force main along Loraine Street is within an easement and unimproved right-of-way. The force main will be installed via open cut trenching except for a 550-foot section that will be horizontal directionally drilled to avoid a known cultural artifact field.
