The selected Consultant(s) shall enter into a contract agreement with Sandy City to provide peer review services for compliance with the International Building Codes and Fire Codes as adopted by the State of Utah, along with State and Local amendments currently being enforced by Sandy City. All Consultants must have and maintain a Utah office with sufficient qualified staff to perform the following plan reviews: structural; fire and life safety; LEED and architectural, including accessibility. The selected Consultant shall have on staff, or under subcontract, a Utah licensed structural engineer. The names and qualifications of the Consultant's employees for consideration shall be submitted with this proposal. During the life of this contract the City shall be informed in writing of any changes in personnel assigned to work for Sandy City. Plan Check Services shall be required as follows: 1. Conduct pre-submittal meetings for development projects when requested. 2. Attend construction development meeting as necessary. 3. Perform complete or partial plan review for compliance to the following codes: a. International Building, Residential, Plumbing, and Mechanical Codes. b. International Electric Code c. International Fuel Gas Code d. International Energy Conservation Code e. Accessibility (ICC/ANSA.A117.1) f. Jurisdiction Adopted Regulations and State Amendments 4. Develop a list of identified deficiencies/correction comments, including the reference code sections in a timely manner agreed to with the Building Official. 5. Copies of all plan check comments/correspondence shall be sent directly to the Building Department. 6. Perform subsequent review of corrected plans, in a timely manner, as agreed to with the Building Official. 7. Once the plans have been reviewed and found to be in compliance with all applicable codes, the plan reviewer shall return plans and related documents with stamped approvals to the Building Department. 8. Once the permit has been issued and the project is underway the consultant shall continue to provide services, if needed. 9. Inspection services as needed. 10. Other services as deemed necessary by the Building Department
