The La Crosse Senior Life is produced monthly. The ADRC sends the file, along with address list, to the current printer around the 15th of each month. Printer cleanses the addresses and communicates any changes/edits to the ADRC monthly to help maintain the ongoing mailing list. Printer applies postage and mails to readers before the end of the month. Currently, the La Crosse Senior Life is printed on three sheets of newspaper and folded in half to create 12 pages, front and back. Two of the sheets are printed fullcolor; the other sheet is printed using black ink only. Please see example of past papers on our website at lacrossecounty.org/adrc/newsletters/la-crosse-senior-life. The ADRC is open to reviewing other print/paper options if total costs are kept close to the total annual budget. The La Crosse Senior Life is mailed to roughly 4,800 households; an additional 250 300 copies are mailed to the ADRC for distribution throughout the month. The current printer also creates an electronic “flip book” file which is shared on our website. This file also provides audio of the content to ensure accessibility for all readers. The ADRC would like to maintain this feature, as accessibility is a priority. The annual budget is $40,000. This budget is somewhat flexible, if it is not possible to meet the needs within this budget.
