Task A – Audio/Visual Upgrades – GJM Board Conference Room Propose and implement a solution that upgrades the audio/visual equipment in the Board Conference Room. The current setup includes a projector and screen that users can connect their laptop to via HDMI or ClickShare, and an interface to control the operation of the screen and selecting the output. In addition to in-person meetings many meetings occur over teleconferencing tools such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. To improve the teleconferencing experience, users have requested a camera and microphones to allow the remote party to see and hear meeting attendees in the room. This proposal should include the following upgrades: • Maintain bring-your-own-device functionality so end users can connect their own laptops/other devices • Add ceiling microphones and speakers • Add a front-mounted PTZ camera • The room contains a table under the projector screen that is often used for food or other items. This may limit which solutions can be used in the space. For instance, a TV likely cannot replace the projector screen, and the camera cannot be mounted in the center of the wall where the screen is.
