City of College Place (City) is seeking written Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from architectural firms to design a multistory structure that will replace the existing community center (801 SE Larch Avenue, College Place, WA). The replacement Community Center needs to fit within a 9,000 square foot footprint. The replacement structure must aesthetically blend in with the surrounding park. Lions Park is undergoing a $7 million dollar transformation and is slated to reopen in May 2025. This project is phase II and will occur after the park reopens. The replacement structure needs to have the following: • 1 st Floor o Preschool Classrooms (ECAPP) o Community Room o Commercial Kitchen (designed so Farmers Market Vendors can rent out and cook) o Outdoor Patio o Elevator • 2 nd Floor o Rural Library District Branch (at least 6,000 square feet)
