The Consultant will be engaging primarily with theUWF team and reporting progress to the designated UWF leadership team, which shall include, at a minimum, representation from UW Campus Architecture and Planning, Campus Energy, Utilities, and Operations, (CEUO), Project Delivery Group (PDG), UW Sustainability, and Facilities Finance & Administration. The types of work the consultant(s) will undertake will support achievement of our strategic goals and objectives, and is expected to include, but is not limited to, the following tasks: • Familiarization of the UW energy renewal program (ERP) for all members of the consultant’s team. • Research, tracking, & identification of grant opportunities for the UW energy renewal program (federal, state and foundations). • Identify eligibility criteria and alignment with the ERP. • Communication with UW team on grant opportunities (eligibility criteria, funds available, timelines). • Assist UWF with overall grant funding strategies aligned with UWF strategic and ERP goals, including prioritization of opportunities, identifying overlap, gaps, restrictions, or other factors. • Grant coordination, preparation and management. • Grant writing services for a minimum of 2 grants (for purposes of this proposal, assume one federal and one state).
