Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – NO (LSUHSC-NO) is seeking support to increase its medical research and development funding for specified technology development programs to build and expand strategic collaborations, partnerships, and relationships with federal agencies and other organizations that can directly or indirectly lead to additional funding for LSUHSC-NO. LSUHSC-NO is also seeking assistance to enhance its understanding of agency mission, culture, and basic applied research needs, while raising the visibility of LSUHSC-NO researchers and the University’s profile throughout relevant federal agencies. The University is seeking support to grow the amount of LSUHSC-NO’s federally sponsored research derived from the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) agencies focused on defense health, public health preparedness, and other health-related topics.
