Replace Boiler 1: • Remove and properly dispose of the existing boiler. Salvage any parts that could be reasonably reused on the remaining boilers for spare parts. • Furnish and install (1) new Patterson-Kelley model N2000-MFD non-condensing hot water boiler rated at 2,000,000 BTU/hr input. • Vent piping from the new boiler to the existing vent pipe; modifications and procurement of materials to be furnished and installed by contractor. • Gas piping shall be connected from the existing gas regulator to the new boiler; modifications and procurement of materials to be furnished and installed by contractor. • Condensate drain piped shall be connected from the existing drain line to the new boiler; modifications and procurement of materials to be furnished and installed by contractor. • Insulated supply and return water piping shall be connected from the existing lines to the new boiler; modifications and procurement of materials to be furnished and installed by contractor. • Warranties as extended by the manufacturer, (1) year minimum warranty to be included on all other parts and labor. • Existing controls shall be connected and tested to the new boiler including all necessary programming as required. • Factory startup of the new boiler, confirmation of controls and automation shall be provided. Repairs to Boiler 2, 3 and 4: • Tear down and remove/replace burners on Boilers #2 and #3 (Stainless mesh blown out and ripping) and all replace associated gaskets using OEM parts. • Replace Ignition cables on Boilers #2, #3 and #4 • Perform combustion analysis and dial in gas/air on Boilers #2, #3 and #4. Share report with Facility Management. • Determine if the Gas valve(s) need replacing after preforming above repairs. Any failures will be reported to Facility Management and failed valves procured by Brown County. (All repairs done with the latest OEM parts) Included: • The contractor must be a licensed and insured general/ prime contractor with the state of WI. • The contractor must be in good standing with the Federal, State, and Local municipalities • The contractor is to supply licensed and insured Plumber and Electrician if needed to perform proper disconnection, installation & connection of lines. • All work shall conform with all federal, state, and local codes and regulations. If codes or regulations conflict, the most stringent shall apply. • Permits, permit to operate, inspection(s) and inspection fees are to be secured, coordinated, and paid by the contractor in fulfilling the requirements of these specifications. • The contractor is to procure, receive, inspect materials for completeness and damage, store until install and deliver materials at the time of install . • The contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of packing materials, construction debris, and/or other related refuse. • The contractor is to supply all necessary installation materials, including but not limited to sealants, screws, pipe, adhesives, shims etc.
