These services will require a consulting firm with the following minimum qualifications and areas of expertise: • The Consultant must have demonstrated expertise in performing electrical plan review and electrical inspections for the following development and use types: single-family, multi-family, and non-residential construction. • The Consultant must have demonstrated experience working with a public agency of similar size to the City of Sammamish within the last five years providing satisfactory services similar to those expected by the City for this contract. • The Consultant must have access to and experience with Bluebeam software and the ability to complete electronic plan reviews. • Minimum qualifications for electrical inspectors are per Labor & Industries State requirements; current certification as an EL01 Journeyman Electrician is required. • Consultants must understand the role of a public agency in administering building permits and performing inspections. • The Consultant must have the ability to ensure continuity of service during unplanned work disruptions. • A project manager in the electrical field is strongly desired.
