Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Fleet Management and the Sherrif’s Office has used Corporate Image to purchase decals from for County vehicles for several years. Corporate Image offers large, screenprinted car decals. There is not another local vendor in Salt Lake County who offers the size of screen-printed decals we need for our vehicles. Other local shops use digitally printed decals and vehicle wrap for their printed materials. The Sherrif’s Office required a contract in place for the next 5 years to update and maintain our Sheriff’s Office vehicle decals. It was determined the good or service be reasonably modified to allow for competition due to safety concerns, we want our vehicles to be seen in the dark and reflect the light to make it easier to see. Corporate Image screen printed decals reflect all the colors, so you don’t just see a white reflection. The Sheriff’s Office conducted market research by contacting 2 other vendors in Salt Lake and they cannot provide the decals we are asking for.
