renovation and several additions to the existing Gwinnett County Bill Atkinson Animal Welfare Facility. The southeastern corner addition will be a one-story building located at the southeastern corner of the existing building totaling approximately 3,521 square feet. This addition is primarily training space, associated support spaces and intake space. Located west of the existing building, will be a new shade structure and two (2) large dog and two (2) small dog bonding areas totaling approximately 2,834 square feet. A new shade structure and two (2) additional bonding areas will be located between the two wings of the existing building. The K-9 existing building will be renovated into isolation and quarantine kennel spaces approximately totaling 11 isolation/dog bite kennels and approximately 10 quarantine kennel spaces. The existing training room and associated spaces, cat adoption, and small animal adoption areas will be renovated into a cat adoption center and associated spaces.
