The North Dakota State Hospital, Jamestown, ND, is looking to purchase 25 patient beds with mounting hardware and mattresses that are ligature resistant. Patient bed specifications must include the following: Ligature-resistant. Platform style bed. One piece design. Open Shelved Storage included either on the side of the bed or foot of the bed and must fall within the dimensions of the bed. Length not to exceed 84 inches. Height not to exceed 21 inches excluding mattress to ensure ADA compliance. Width not to exceed 36 inches. Bed deck must be a minimum of 30 inches wide. Construction conducive of infection control. Anti-microbial construction. Fluid resistance. Suitable for hospital grade cleaners. Rounded edges. Contraband resistance. Fire retardant. Designed for use in a behavioral health care setting. 1000-pound maximum static load capacity. Ability to mount to floor, including mounting hardware.
