This specification will be covering the removal, disposal, coating and reinsulating of the LPR and associated piping in support of NDT testing on this LPR. The scope of this work is for all materials, labor, equipment, and permits for the removal and reinstallation of insulation on the RICE 2 LPR and associated piping. No additional insulation beyond the currently insulated piping is being requested with this project. The scope of piping to be worked on is shown in the included drawings. The location of the work is immediately around the Low-Pressure Receiver (LPR-1) inside the RICE 2 Compressor Building in the South-East corner of the generating facility secure area. This work will be performed when the system is out of service for the winter season, so the equipment will not be operational during the planned project period.
