Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. In 2002 under DPW project #02-600 the Idaho State Veterans Home in Lewiston was renovated and new Alteron HVAC logic control cards and software were installed in the facility by ATS Inland NW. The HVAC system logic control cards require factory trained services technicians to service and maintain them for proper operations. The maintenance staff at the facility are not trained, qualified or licensed on the Alteron logic control card systems and the control cards are proprietary to ATS Inland NW and ATS is the only Alerton dealer directly authorized to sell, install and maintain the systems in Idaho, Washington, Wyoming, Montana certain counties of Oregon and North Dakota as stated in the attached letter from ATS. In accordance with IDAPA 38.05.01.042.05(vi), the Idaho Division of Veterans Services is requesting exemption from competition to enter into contract for one (1) year with ATS for ongoing maintenance, upgrades and support of the HVAC logic control cards and software contained with the logic card system.
