BOOSTER PUMP RENOVATIONS: A. Each booster pump, motor, and controls are existing. Existing wiring from controls to motors to remain intact. New wiring for pressure transducer or flow sensor to be installed per NEC and local codes. Make all necessary connections. B. All fabricated piping must conform to ASTM specifications A53 for Grade B welded or seamless pipe. Piping must be Schedule 40. All welding flanges must be forged steel with slip-on or welding neck type. All welding fittings must be seamless, conforming to ASTM Specification A234, with pressure rating not less than 150 psi. All pressurized tube fittings must be copper or brass. All piping must be powder coated inside and outside of pipe. Paint all steel piping using Scotch Kote 134 or equal fusion bonded epoxy coating. Submit paint color to Owner approval prior to fabrication. Provide 1 quart can of paint for touch up use. C. Dogleg Piping: Coat inside and outside of pump station dogleg drop piping using Scotch Kote 134 or equal fusion bonded epoxy coating.
