3.1. Overall Project Timeline. 3.2. Assess and Quantify Data Relating to Current and Projected Meadow Conditions 3.2.1. Conduct a resource analysis that considers the following: A. Vegetation, Soil Health, Water Quality, Forest Health, Rare Plants, Fire History, Invasive Species, and other related factors. B. Sensitive Landscapes including wetlands, stream zone protection areas, areas having experienced channelization and historical impacts from logging and grazing, and erodible slopes. C. Wildlife habitat including existing and future wildlife concerns. D. Known cultural resources in the project boundary. 3.2.2. Compile resource assessment in Geographic Information System (GIS). Create a map that demarcates known hydrological and ecological concerns. 3.2.3. Summarize historical changes to meadow, current effects of these actions as a baseline, and how projected improvements will improve upon existing conditions and baseline. 3.2.4. Produce report synthesizing assessed data and contractor’s recommendations for meadow restoration project planning and design. 3.3. Project Planning and Design 3.3.1. Review existing restoration report from 2010 produced by 2nd Nature, incorporate data and update the plan if necessary. 3.3.2. Update survey data with new technology such as LIDAR equipped drone flight of the project area. 3.3.3. Utilize relevant information (DRI, 2nd Nature, TRPA, etc.) to develop a restoration plan.
