1. The existing dugouts will be removed by the City of North Augusta. The project consists of replacement with new dugouts according to the specifications in the Request for Proposals. 2. Dugouts shall be 30’ x 8’. All steel construction using 3” O.D. Posts. Concrete slabs shall be 6” with turndown ends. All concrete to be 3000 PSI minimum at 28 days. Posts to be embedded directly into the footing. 3. Roofing shall use 3” x 3” steel tubing with 6” roof overhang. 3” x 3: tube steel- align with posts and center at 5’ O.C. Standing seam metal roof to be prefinished galvalume AZ-50 in 24-gauge minimum, 16” width, by Merchant & Evans, Bemo 2-1/2 SSR, IMETCO SE 300 (Or Equal) in standard colors, edges to be hemmed. Hat Purlin (#16” O.C.) Cap all tube ends. 4. (5) 10’ extended terminal posts using 3” O.D. pipe. (6) 8’ extended terminal posts using 3” O.D. pipe. Welded sleeve to attach to roof. 5. Fencing and posts shall be powder coated black. Fencing shall be 9- gauge black chain link fence. Fencing shall enclose all 4 sides with main gate in front of dugout and side gate to the on deck protective area. On deck protective area will require two sections of 8’ fencing and one section of 12’ fencing. (Total of 8 sections of 8’ fencing and 4 sections of 12’ fencing). Fencing going down the foul lines will require relocation of one terminal post (4 total) and relocation of 8’gate onto field (4 total).
