• Network design, installation, configuration, and maintenance • Network monitoring, troubleshooting, and support • Network security, backup, and disaster recovery • Network documentation and training • Onsite support during regular business hours • Emergency support during outages • Microsoft 365 management and monitoring • Security consulting for cloud applications • Server data backup and recovery with cloud secured retention points • Automated patch management for workstations, network equipment, and servers. • Assists in resolving issues that may include systems/application troubleshooting and installation, printing and hardware troubleshooting, connectivity, security and general staff questions. • Documentation of all assets and configuration must be available to the Mayor upon request. • Maintain excellent communication with leadership on all tasks and projects. • Tracks Helpdesk work orders/requests and ensures timely and quality resolutions with IT team members and system users by coordinating and handling Helpdesk calls, tickets and/or e-mails about IT issues. • Coordinates schedules, projects, and programs; provides constructive feedback; reviews and evaluates work and makes effective suggestions and recommendations. • Complies with all published safety regulations, and reports safety-related accidents, incidents, and unsafe work conditions. Attends safety-training programs as required. • Provides monthly updates of ongoing projects and/or installation of system is required, or more frequent if requested. • Strictly maintains and adheres to security policy set forth in CJIS compliance, completes regular training for CJIS requirements, and attains certification in CJIS controls annually or as often as required by the CJIS Advisory Policy Board for any employee who accesses systems or data authorized by the City of Benton Police Department.
