Targeted repairs at the southeastern portion of the low-slope roof. Work involves complete removal, legal disposal, and replacement of the in-service roofing system at an area 3,000 SF in size at the south zone of Section 3 (see attachment with red-hashed area). Demolish existing roof zone, down to the structural deck. Removal required until dry zones of the existing assembly confirmed Damaged Existing Deck - Allowance: Please assume that 15% of the underlying structural wood deck sheathing (450 SF) will require replacement. **List allowance separately on the bid. Build back assembly with 3" tapered rigid insulation, slope to drain, min. 2% Provide new two-ply SBS (Tremco) over ¼ inch coverboard Provide tie-in to existing roofing to remain with PUMA or PMMA At the parapet, remove the counter flashing and terminate base flashings via termination bar. Once complete the existing counter flashing to be re-fastened. Permitting: Please carry an allowance to engage with the authority having jurisdiction, including procurement of the necessary permit to perform the repairs.
