The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a contract with a cultural resource management contractor to provide archaeological heritage survey services for the Oregon Department of Forestry (“ODF” or “Agency”) under Good Neighbor Authority (GNA) for required surveys, field data collection, analysis and recording new cultural resources on federal land managed by the U.S. Forest Service (“USFS” or “Forest Service”) (Area of Potential Effect (APE)) in the Mt. Hood National Forest (MHNF) and options for sections on Oregon state land managed by Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW). Awarded Contractor shall complete Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) compliance Work (Phase I and II) for the Hootnanny Insect and Disease project area (hereinafter referred to as “the project”). The awarded Contractor shall begin the project Work within three weeks of the Contract award and complete the Services no later than June 30, 2025. As a result of this ITB solicitation process, the Agency intends to award one contract to a single contractor for the Services described in this Solicitation Document.
