The City is also interested in contracting snow plowing services for at least one of its regular street routes. The required equipment shall be either a 6 wheel or a 10-wheel dump truck, with a minimum GVW of 33,000 lbs., with power operated blade minimum length 11’ and wing plow of 10’ minimum length capable of “shelving”, with salt/sand spreader. The intention is to award one of the regular street plow routes for the entire winter season. The City is also requesting pricing for potential street plowing with a motor-grader equipped with a 12' minimum under body blade, having the capability to clear 10' path at an angle of 37 degrees, also to have 11' minimum wing plow capable of "shelving”. The City may also consider plowing of municipal water supply well sites 4x4 pick-up trucks. Trucks should be equipped with a sand/salt spreader to allow simultaneous treatment of the sites.
