This project encompasses the renovation of the entire first floor, selective portions of the basement, demolition, and relocation of second-floor restrooms, along with the addition of exterior ramps, stairs, and a replacement of a pedestrian bridge to the existing building. The renovation area spans approximately 12,700 SF on the first floor, 4,400 SF on the lower level, and 1,900 SF on the second floor. Key aspects of the project include new office construction, casework, upgraded finishes, new restrooms, enhanced lighting, updated power systems, improved building entrance access, and revised mechanical systems and distribution to support the new design. The department does plan to remain occupied in the portions of the building not within the project scope area during construction activities.
