The Maryland Department of Health, Public Health Services Administration is seeking the services of a vendor to provide Technology of Participation Facilitation (ToP) training for the period of October 15, 2024, to December 31, 2024. MDH is interested in understanding the landscape of facilitation and wants to learn universally applicable approaches to facilitate teams and work groups (e.g. steering committees) to drive towards consensus and commitment for public health programs and activities. This comprehensive training will include various aspects of facilitation, including virtual facilitation techniques, understanding group dynamics, fostering productive dialogue, integrating diverse ideas, and crafting actionable plans. Concepts should be conveyed via demonstrations and participant exercises. Additionally, this training should include instruction on virtual facilitation techniques, aimed at equipping trainees with skills to effectively facilitate in virtual environments including use of a variety of online meeting tools such as chat and breakout rooms.
