• Attend regularly scheduled Canby City Council meetings. A preference will be given for Proposers with experience in parliamentary procedures; please note this experience in the Proposal. • Attend other meetings of the Canby City Council, Urban Renewal Agency (URA), and Planning Commission. • Provide legal counsel to City staff, Planning Commission, and City Councilors in areas of administrative law, contract law, land use law, municipal court and other areas of municipal law. • Prepare or assist in the revision of City ordinances, resolutions, contracts or other legal instruments or documents of the City. • Assist law enforcement and administrative staff in enforcing municipal ordinances. • Represent the City in intergovernmental relations as appropriate.
