The Consultant shall provide Services that include advice and opportunities for revenue generation and strategies to generate revenues in support of the priorities of the Authority. The City requires committed efforts to timely identify revenue generating opportunities including naming rights, sponsorships, and promotional assets associated with property, facilities, and projects/events of the City; collecting revenues rightly owned and/or identifying missed opportunities/best practices for revenue generation that are being followed by other cities; and strategic-level planning for sustainable and/or dedicated funding streams to support strategic priorities of the City’s Sports Authority. Consultant will assist the City in executive revenue opportunities and will coordinate such action with the Authority’s Board. Consultant shall receive no financial benefit from such revenue opportunities agreed upon by the City, except as provided under the contract with the City. Consultant will develop plans of action and milestones for projects. Periodically, Consultant will be asked to provide briefings to the Authority’s Board, City staff, Parks and Recreation Commission, or City Council as directed. Once identified as an approved course of action by the Board, Consultant will provide technical assistance to City staff. Technical assistance will include developing project outlines, steps, and timeline; assisting coordination with stakeholders; and identifying applicable policies or ordinances that may be impacted or required. The Consultant by this acknowledgement additionally waives claim to further compensation above and beyond that which is negotiated and contracted between the Owner and Consultant resulting from this Request for Qualifications except for those costs as provided for in Section 6.4 of this RFQ.
