Amtrak invites qualified design firms to submit qualifications for Design Support Services for the development of Amtrak Fleet Commissioning Facility within our Bear Yard in Delaware. The Design Support Services Contract will be a lump sum not-to-exceed contract. The type of professional engineering services will be for the development of an implementation strategy and general site analysis for various operational facilities at Bear Yard and the design advancement of the Fleet Commissioning Facility. The advancement of the design package will be development via design/build performance bridging document and/or design/bid/build packages for the construction of facility. Scope of work will include: architectural, historical, site analysis, survey, geotechnical engineering, conceptual building and site layout designs, track designs, civil & structural design, cost estimating, scheduling, construction phase services and other as-needed services to facilitate the delivery of design package.
