This Statewide open-ended, on-call, Contract consists of supplying labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform Maintenance of Traffic (MOT). This includes providing Protection Vehicles (PV) with operators and shoulder and/or lane closure MOT setups for various roadway operations in District 4 (Baltimore and Harford Counties), District 6 (Allegany, Garrett, and Washington Counties), and District 7 (Carroll, Howard, and Frederick Counties). The Contractor shall be capable of supplying a minimum of one (1) Protection Vehicle upon request of the Engineer in addition to any scheduled MOT assignments to support the Signal Operations Section or the Statewide Sign Team. The Contractor shall provide these services on two-lane, two-way roadways; divided, uncontrolled, multi-lane undivided roadways, expressway / freeways, interstates, signalized intersections and other areas as directed by the Signal Operations Section Supervisor. Day and/or night stationary operations as well as slow moving mobile operations may be required.
