2.6.1. The goal of the procurement is to provide a transparent and fair selection process for contracting with health carriers seeking to offer quality D-SNPs to Nevadans served by the state’s Medicaid program who are also enrolled in the federal Medicare program. 2.6.2. This RFP is to procure up to five MA Plans who have a demonstrated track record of providing care coordination activities for Medicare and Medicaid dual eligible population. The CO D-SNP must ensure enrollees receive quality services, enhanced coordination for their Medicaid services and reduce consumer confusion between the two programs. 2.6.3. Currently Nevada’s CO D-SNP serves Full Benefit Dual Eligible (FBDE), Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB) and Qualified Medicare Beneficiary Plus (QMB+). This procurement will expand the CO D-SNP eligible population to Specified Low-income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB) and Specified Low-income Medicare Beneficiary Plus (SLMB +).
