The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking professional design services for the Kentucky Division of Waste Management Superfund Branch (SFB) to develop a design and provide construction management oversight for an environmental remediation project. The current site conditions consist of approximately 0.71 acres capped with 18 inches of soil (results of a 2016 EPA Removal Action). Below the 18 inches of soil, there is arsenic-contaminated soil to a depth of 7 feet that exceeds 68 parts per million for total arsenic. The anticipated goal of this project is to remediate the remaining soil contamination to Kentucky’s residential (unrestricted) land use standard.
