A. The Contractor must investigate the four (4) proposed sites to determine the best location and equipment for sanitary sewer flow measurements at each site. If a specific manhole is not suitable for sewer flow measurements, a substitute manhole shall be identified in a nearby manhole to conduct the sewer flow measurements. The four proposed sites, as shown in Figure 1, are: 1.) East 100th Street and South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois; 2.) East 104th Street and South Rhodes Avenue, Chicago, Illinois; 3.) East 114th Place and South Forest Avenue, Chicago, Illinois; and 4.) East 124th Street and South Indiana Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. B. The Contractor must provide well-calibrated flow measurement units with telemetry capability for collecting flow data at a 15-minute interval for 30 days. C. The Contractor is responsible for standard traffic control and confined space entry measures at each site where sewer flow measurements take place. D. During installation, the Contractor must calibrate each flow meter by taking manual depth and velocity measurements and comparing with meter readings. E. The Contractor must prepare a host system for managing the data. The Contractor shall review the data at least once per week and report any equipment service needs to the Environmental Research Scientist. F. The Contractor must take a minimum one additional round of calibration measurements during the 30-day flow measurement period...
