Montgomery County Government is requesting proposals from interested firms on providing a global position monitoring system as a condition of bail for Montgomery County offenders. The proposing firms must meet all criteria outlined in the State of Tennessee Public Chapter 1033. A copy is attached for your reference. Proposers must have the staffing capabilities to come to the Montgomery County Jail, as needed, to install GPS devices directly for offenders. The awarded firm must contact the Montgomery County Jail Booking to coordinate the scheduled release time of the offender. The firm must arrive at the facility within a reasonable time frame to install the GPS monitoring system. Up to two hours after scheduled release time will be considered reasonable and does not unnecessarily inconvenience the offender. The awarded firm should be responsive to provide services at the Montgomery County Jail 24-hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year and plan to affix the GPS monitoring device to the offender in the designated inmate release area.
